AOC Community Media will hold auditions on Monday, July 3, for new on-air talent for a new interview-style program on its television channels (Cox Communications 15 and 16 and LUS Fiber 3 and 4), its YouTube page and the upcoming AOC Podcast Network.
The volunteer host interested must be able to record programs at AOC every other Monday afternoon for several hours. Topics, which will vary during each program and interview, include music, food, art, jobs, local stories, local resources, and of course people from all areas of Lafayette.
“If you’re interested and curious about all things Lafayette and you’d like to talk about it on TV, this is the volunteer opportunity you’ve been looking for,” said Ed Bowie, executive director of AOC Community Media. “You’ll learn more about Lafayette then you ever thought possible. You’ll develop your interpersonal skills. And you can develop a professional resume reel to use when you’re ready to go commercial.”
To schedule an audition time on July 3, email Bethany Ivy at firstname.lastname@example.org, call 232-4434 ext. 204 or choose an appointment slot at http://doodle.com/poll/qtdbgncx5kst56y6. Those unable to reserve an audition on July 3 can submit their contact information to be considered for other future opportunities.
