AOC's Equipment Reservation Policy: We do not allow walk-in reservations for equipment. You must submit your request at least 16 business hours before your requested pick-up time. Equipment pickup and returns can be requested for Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We do not allow equipment pick ups or returns on Saturday or Sunday.

In fairness to all of our members and the requests we receive, our policy is that requests cannot be made more than 6 weeks before a reservation starts.

TV Studio
Our TV Studio is equipped for either a green-screen or backdrop option. Three production-quality cameras come with this room. A director's booth equipped with TriCaster is included with reservation of the TV Studio.

Any Facility or All-Access Member can reserve use of our TV Studio. No prior class is required.

Multi-Purpose Room
Our Multi-Purpose Room has two available sets (a black wall and a green-screen wall). Three production-quality cameras come with this room. For television productions, only full crews can reserve use of this room. A director's booth equipped with TriCaster is included with reservation of the Multi-Purpose Room. This room can be reserved for screenings, auditions, plays, and other production needs.

Advanced Studio Production workshop is recommended for use of this studio. Any Facility, Meeting Space or All-Access Members can request use of this studio.

Post Editing Lab
Our post-production lab is equipped with Mac computers which include Final Cut Pro X and other tools to help you produce your projects.

Any Facility, Equipment or All-Access Member can request use of this lab.

Podcast/Internet Radio Booth
Our Podcast/Internet Radio Booth helps individuals, groups, and communities tell their own diverse stories, share experiences, and become active creators and contributors of media.

Any Facility or All-Access Members can request the use of this space.

Audio Booth
Our Audio Booth is perfect for recording voice overs and narrations.

Any Facility or All-Access Member can reserve use of our Audio Booth. No prior class is required.

Community Room
AOC's Community Room is available for use by members, non-members, local nonprofits and schools. This room comes with a large conference table with seating for eight as well as audience seating for 10. Access to a small kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, sink) and restrooms is included.

The Community Room is available to Facility, Meeting Space and All-Access Members.

Yellow Kit
Our beginner camera kit includes a Canon HF-200 or Canon HF-R500 video camera, two batteries, wall power adapter for camera, and a Varizoom tripod, and one 8GB SD card.

Any Equipment or All-Access Member can reserve use of our Yellow Kit. No prior class is required.

Orange Kit
Our intermediate camera kit includes a Canon XA-10 HD camcorder with 64 GB of internal storage as well as two SDHC/SDXC SD card slots for additional storage. Additional SD cards are not provided. The kit also includes two batteries, one battery charger, one wall power adapter for camera, one EV handheld mic, two 10-foot XLR cables and one Varizoom tripod. If you wish to use SD cards for additional storage, AOC recommends using a class 6 or higher SDHC/SDXC SD card.

Any Equipment or All-Access Member can reserve use of our Orange Kit. No prior class is required.

Backpack Media Production Kit
Our Backpack Media Production kit includes a iPad, audio equipment in a backpack and a tripod.

Any Equipment or All-Access Member can reserve use of our Backpack Kit. No prior class is required.

Blue Kit
Our advanced camera kit includes a Sony PXW-X70 HD camcorder with two SDHC/SDXC SD card slots for storage. SD cards are not provided. The kit also includes two batteries, one battery charger, one wall power adapter for camera, one onboard shotgun mic, and one Varizoom tripod. AOC recommends using a class 6 or higher SDHC/SDXC SD card.

You must submit a Project Proposal before requesting use of this kit. Equipment and All-Access Members can reserve use of this kit.

GoPro Hero 4 Silver
GoPro Hero 4 Silver edition with two batteries, battery charger, USB Cable, GoPro Case, Selfie Stick, Suction Mount, Head Mount, Chest Mount, Action Handle, Plate Mount and Adhesive Mounts. Ideal for recording live sports and shooting time-lapse videos. One 16GB Micro SD Card included.

Equipment or All-Access Members can reserve use of this kit.

Monopod
This can be used for photography or videography to stabilize camera.

Equipment or All-Access Members can reserve use of this equipment.

Zoom Recorder
This equipment is ideal for recording meetings, conferences, or using as an external audio source when shooting video. The Zoom H4n microphone can record audio with built-in microphones, take XLR or ¼ cable in to record, simultaneously record using its own microphone and XLR or ¼ input for a 4-channel sound mix. No SD Card is provided. AOC recommends using Class 6 or higher, 8 GB or higher SD cards for this kit. Batteries are not included. Two AA batteries are needed for this equipment.

Boom Microphone
(Approved by Project Proposal Only) This is ideal for use when recording interviews. This kit included one Audio Technica AT875 shotgun microphone, one boom pole and one 10-foot XLR Cable.

You must submit a Project Proposal before requesting use of this kit. Any Equipment or All-Access Member can request the use of this.

Sennheiser Wireless Microphone Kit
(Approved By Project Proposal Only)- This is ideal for recording interviews or a live conference to mic the speaker. This kit includes a Sennheiser SK 100 Wireless Transmitter, SK 100 Plug on transmitter for dynamic microphones, Sennheiser Lavalier Mic and mic clip. Batteries are not included. Four AA batteries are needed for this kit.

You must submit a Project Proposal before requesting use of this kit. Any Equipment or All-Access Member can request the use of this kit.

Arri Light Kit
(Approved by Project Proposal and Lighting Safety Eligibility Quiz Only)- This kit includes one 1,000-watt light, two 650-watt lights, one 300-watt light, one pair of lighting gloves, one 10-foot extension cord, Chimera Soft Box with mount for 1,000-watt light, 2x 300w, 4x 650w and 2x 1000w scrims.

You must submit a Project Proposal before requesting use of this kit. You must also complete and pass the Lighting Safety Eligibility Quiz at http://www.aocinc.org/lighting.asp. Equipment or All-Access Members can reserve use of this kit.

Arri 150 Light Kit
(Approved by Project Proposal and Lighting Safety Eligibility Quiz Only) This kit includes two Arri 150-watt lights, two small stands and one pair of lighting gloves.

You must submit a Project Proposal before requesting use of this kit. You must also pass the Lighting Safety Eligibility Quiz at http://www.aocinc.org/lighting.asp. Equipment or All-Access Members can reserve use of this kit.

DVD Duplicator
This equipment is only available for use in AOC’s Post editing lab. This can be used to duplicate a finalized DVD (up to five DVDs at one time). Members must provide own blank DVDs or purchase DVDs from AOC.

Any Facility, Equipment or All-Access Member can request use of this equipment in the Editing Lab.

VHS to DVD Converter
Convert your VHS tapes to DVDs with this equipment.

AOC to hold audition July 3 for on-air talent for new interview-style program -  6/23/2017
AOC Community Media will hold auditions on Monday, July 3, for new on-air talent for a new interview-style program on its television channels (Cox Communications 15 and 16 and LUS Fiber 3 and 4), its YouTube page and the upcoming AOC Podcast Network.


AOC to air “Conversation Starters” featuring Dr. Rick Swanson starting June 21 -  6/19/2017
AOC Community Media will premiere the inaugural and much discussed “Conversation Starters” featuring Dr. Rick Swanson starting on Wednesday, June 21, at 7 p.m. on AOC 2 (Cox 16/LUS 4).


AOC Closed July 4 -  6/19/2017
AOC will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July. We will re-open on Wednesday, July 5, at 9 a.m.
