Join us for our Annual Community Appreciation event on Thursday, June 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Doubletree by Hilton (1521 W. Pinhook Road in Lafayette) as we roll out the red carpet for you to celebrate a year of collaboration and partnerships!
We’ll be honoring our community members and organizations that have made this past year outstanding! There will be games, music, lots of door prizes, great food and lots of camaraderie! We’ll also review some of AOC’s most recent accomplishments and milestones.
Early bird special ticket price is $25 per person before Wednesday, June 5; $35 per person after June 5. Reserved table pricing of $175 for 8 people available. (For reserved table purchase of 8 tickets or more, please call AOC to receive discount and to process payment.)
Gather with your fellow supporters of AOC Community Media for a fun night with a silent auction, door prizes, casino game tables and more! Entertainment will be provided by Michelle Colón. She is a performance artist from Ponce, Puerto Rico, currently living in Lafayette, La. A multidisciplinary, she's been making a name for herself in Lafayette as a theatre and film actor, jazz singer, frontwoman of the band TONOMONO, dancer and writer.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have a list of everyone who purchased tickets through Eventbrite so if you forget your ticket, no worries!
What is the attire?
Our theme this year is a casino night so feel free to dress up or down as you see fit. Business casual to cocktail would be most appropriate but really, anything goes!
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes, if you are not able to attend and would like to transfer it to someone else's name, please do so. We will have assigned seating so names for table designation will help our event organizers.
What type of casino gaming tables will you have?
We will have a variety of gaming tables including Blackjack, Texas Hold 'Em and more! With the purcahse of your ticket, you will receive several complimentary chips to play. Additional chips may be purchased with the dealer and proceeds are given to AOC Community Media.
Will there be drinks available?
Yes, there will be a cash bar.
What type of door prizes will be awarded?
Door prizes include gift certificates from Amazon, Wal-mart, Best Buy, Lowe's and many other retailers throughout Acadiana.
What is the silent auction?
We will have a silent auction to generate funds for AOC and we've got some great items for you to bid on, such as:
