To qualify for AOC’s NPO Social Media Spotlights, please be informed that:

Your organization must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
Your organization must have a Group/Organizational Membership with AOC. (See more info and benefits about our affordable group memberships here!)
You must reserve your appointment by filling out the form below.
We record up to 60 seconds of video per reservation.

At the end of this form, you will find a detailed explanation of what you can expect leading up to, during, and after your PSA studio or on-site recording. This information will also be emailed to you immediately after your request form has been processed.

AOC Community Media will do it's best to accommodate anything you would like to add.

NPO Spotlight PSA’s follow a format of your Organization’s Chosen Representative speaking directly to the viewing community for up to 60 seconds in order to concisely spread awareness of your mission, message, and events. If you’d like to record multiple PSAs, you will have to request an appointment per PSA, but AOC is happy to accommodate as the schedule allows.

For studio productions, we suggest, but do not require, that you write a script and submit it to us in advance. AOC’s studio has a teleprompter available to use on the day of your recording. This may lead to a much smoother delivery and presentation!

To submit any scripts, logos, or additional organizational info please email it to programming@aocinc.org.

AOC will include all relevant information on-screen in the form of graphics during the PSA. (For example: social media handles, website link(s), phone number(s), event date(s) and/or location(s), etc.)

You will also be asked to provide a high quality digital version of your organizations’s logo for inclusion in the PSA.

Tips for creating a script:

A word count of 150 is, on average, equal to roughly 60 seconds when read aloud.
A word count of 75 is, on average, equal to roughly 30 seconds when read aloud.
Practice your script aloud and with a timer if possible. This will refine your delivery during recording.

Tips for studio recording:

AOC requests you do NOT wear any green-colored clothing. We generally record against a “Green Screen”, and green-colored clothing will not be visible against such a background.
Be cautious when wearing clothing that contains patterns and prints, as they may appear to be moving on screen, under certain filming conditions.
Neutral and Earth tones are always a safe bet. For Example shades of: Black, Grey, Navy, Brown, Khaki, and White.
