This free online workshop is designed for all AOC members seeking to learn how to produce a show using AOC’s TV Studios. This introductory workshop provides an overview of the functions and features of AOC’s small TV Studio facility.

What to Know BEFORE Getting Started
To ensure the safety of yourself and AOC’s gear/facilities, please review our brief safety video and adhere to all safety measures when using AOC’s small TV studio.

Here’s a handy Show Prep Checklist to help you prepare for recording your show in AOC’s small TV studio:
COLLECT YOUR SHOW’S ASSETS
Digital assets include any digital photos, videos, graphics, songs, audio clips, etc. that you intend to use within your program. Upload these assets to a hard drive or flash drive before your reservation.
We recommend adding a prefix to your filenames to make them easier to search in the Tricaster software. (For example, you made add the date and your initials in this format: yyyymmdd_FL_filename). Be sure to separate your filename from your prefix with an underscore [_].
Graphics
Acceptable File Types: .jpg .png .bmp
Image Resolution should be no less than 720x480 pixels at 72 pixels per inch (ppi),
Video Clips
Acceptable File Types: .mov .avi
Video resolution should be no less than 720x480 pixels.
Audio
Acceptable File Types: .wav .mp3
PREPARE YOUR’S SHOW’S TEXT ASSETS
Planning to have a co-host or guest talent on your show? Make a list with the proper spelling of each of your talent’s names and preferred titles.
Make a list of your show’s contact info, websites, and social media handles and/or your guest talent’s contact info. This info can be displayed on-screen using the Tricaster software in the Director’s Booth.
