Library Resource Guide Reveals Access to Tools, Services, and Databases
Unlock your library card’s hidden potential with the new Library Resource Guide! The 12-page guide provides a detailed look at all of the digital and physical resources that the Lafayette Public Library has to offer. Pick up a copy at any library location or download a PDF version at lafayettepubliclibrary.org/guide.
As a service to our patrons, the Lafayette Public Library subscribes to a large selection of online databases that contain information on a wide variety of subjects. These databases provide access to genealogy resources, automotive repair help, business information, virtual magazines, interactive children’s books, and newspaper articles. There are also virtual services for learning tutorials, homework help, test-taking practice and tips, a language-learning tool, as well as career and job-seeking resources. Most of these databases can be found online at lafayettepubliclibrary.org/freestuff.
Check it out for yourself! All you need is a library card. If you need one, you can apply today at any library location or visit lafayettepubliclibrary.org/getacard for details.
