Remaining Council Budget Meetings Rescheduled Due To Severe Weather

Due to impending tropical weather associated with two (2) storm systems forecast for Lafayette Parish this week, the remaining Council reviews for the proposed 2020-2021 budget for Lafayette Consolidated Government have been respectively rescheduled for one (1) week later.

  • The Wrap-Up discussion on the proposed budget is hereby rescheduled from Thursday, August 27, 2020 to Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.


  • Final Adoption of the Budget is hereby rescheduled from Thursday, September 10, 2020 to Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. These meetings will be held in the Council Auditorium of City-Parish Hall at 705 West University Avenue in Lafayette.

The City and Parish Councils strongly encourage citizens to observe all severe weather advisories from local, state, and federal levels in the interest of maintaining public safety.
