Acadiana Symphony Orchestra Cancels Season Finale: Sounds of the Crown

It is with heavy hearts that we prematurely end our 35th Anniversary Season, a season that has been one of celebration and revelry. This season marked 35 years of ASO in the Acadiana community, it was a season where we reflected on the past, celebrated the present and looked to the future. And we have been so honored to celebrate with you this season

However, due to the extreme uncertainty of the length and overall impact of the COVID-19 virus in our community, region, and country, Acadiana Symphony Orchestra Administration and Executive Board has made the decision to cancel our ASO35 Season Finale Performance, Sounds of the Crown, which was planned for March 27, 2020, 7PM at St. John’s Cathedral. This decision was made after careful and diligent consideration, in an overabundance of caution for our audience, musicians, guest artists and staff. 

We appreciate your understanding in this matter and look forward to seeing you on the downbeat.
