LPRD SETS YOUTH BASKETBALL REGISTRATION SCHEDULE LAFAYETTE, LA

The Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department has set the

registration period for Youth Basketball. Registration

throughout Lafayette Parish will begin on Saturday, November 2,

2019, and continue through Sunday, November 17, 2019. Basketball

as offered by LPRD is for boys and girls. This program is for

children ages 7 to 16, based on their age as of December 31,

2019.

Registration will take place at each of the six Youth

Associations in Lafayette Parish. Those associations include:

BPA (Brown Park Athletics), CSA (Cajun Sports Association),

CAYSI (Carencro Area Youth Sports, Inc.), SATS (Scott Area Team

Sports), SLYSI (Southwest Lafayette Youth Sports, Inc.), and

SWA (Southwest Athletics). Residents living in the former BYYA

(Broussard/Youngsville Youth Association) zone are to register

with CSA.
